Dear
Friend:
"Churfirsten." This is the German name for a mountain
range comprised of seven jagged, snowcapped peaks affectionately
known as "the Saw of God." Those attending the
European Congress of Fundamental Bible Believing Christians
(June 17-20, 2002) were treated to this breathtaking view
each day. Not only was the handiwork of God evident in the
gigantic saw-like teeth that enclosed one end of the lush
Toggenburg Valley, but it was also evident in the 15 preaching
sessions that comprised the heart of the congress.
In these services, the spiritual "saw of God,"
the Bible, wrought a work in our lives, cutting away the
dead wood and smoothing and shaping our lives into greater
conformity to the image of His Son. Both the preaching and
the fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ from
all over Europe provided alpine high points of the week.
Congress host evangelist Peter Steiner made each delegate
feel welcome as he rolled out the red carpet for nearly
350 guests. The high turnout completely exceeded our expectations,
and the positive feedback we received from missionaries,
national pastors, and laymen also indicated that God was
at work in a very special way.
The European Congress of Fundamental Bible-Believing Christians
was a mountaintop experience that will not be soon forgotten.
Praise the Lord for His goodness and grace to do His work
in our midst.
We have tentatively slated the next regional congress to
be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, May 19-22, 2003. The details
have not been confirmed, but we are looking to the Lord
for His guidance.
I hope you can join us for future congresses. Kindest regards.
Sincerely yours,

 Bob
